This is a 'How To posted recently that fits right in with what we are wanting to do with Linux here.

One of those tools available with GnuCash is invoicing. With GnuCash you can create a professional invoice that will also automatically post to your accounts receivable. So not only are you able to issue invoices, the creation of these invoices will help you keep track of money owed to you and your company.

What do you think?

Maybe it is growing up ..... but last time I looked it was not worth the effort.

Something more professional like Sql Ledger would be better for business.

It is the cross linking and tracking that lets most small apps down ..... as well as the comprehensive reporting at any time ..... what happens when an item is returned and a credit note is issued ... is it treated correctly ..... stock increased again by the return ..... the correct accounting procedure used for the value and taxes etc etc ...... and of course if selling retail, wholesale or a mixture of both are they easily handled ...

.... you did ask .... :D

Does this mean that NolaPro is not being considered for inclusion for future BEL releases? I think that it is pretty easy to use and straight forward.
I will have to take a look at the link and the application...it has been awhile since I've looked at it. Thanks BB for the link

Well, nolapro will always be supported here. but we won't be releasing any more ISO's.

So this is just looking for folkj input to see if gnucash is getting it's act together in terms of small business.
